Am I the only one who will spend an hour to write a script that runs only once to save myself from entering in 20 minutes worth of data manually?

    Only when I think I could possibly use this again for a test case. Most of the time there is some drive behind the need to do this, and when that's the case, there's usually test cases involved.

    only if you can see the need to perhaps recycle some of thr code later on to save yourself some time on a project.

    I usually do this and plan on it only taking an hour. It usually ends up being more than an hour for me. I have to make my script perfect, otherwise it drives me nuts.
