I need a new Laptop for coding when I'm not at home. My first thougt was to buy the new MacBook Pro, so I also could compile my Flutter app for iOS. But then I saw the problems from other people on the web with this machine. Today I saw the Dell XPS 13, it looks great, runs windows and everything is fine. So now I couldn't decide. I want to compile for iOS but also want that damm hot Dell XPS 13. Life is torture.

@Devnergy You can turn it into a hackintosh but you will need to swap the WiFi card...

My macbook pro 2017 is working like a champ. You will find people having issues for damn near every electronic device always so take their complaints with a grain of salt.

Also hackingtoshing is for me (and damn near everyone that had to build mobile apps) out of the question. You **will** have issues with it and void warranties. Other than that the dell is a fucking fantastic computer, so is the macbook but my suggestion for mobile development will always be macbook simply because apple is a bitch when it comes to their development environments

Your can compile for osx on your iPhone if you really need to. You can also get osx running in VM and use the emulator. You only really need to compile it "native" if you want to load it into the app store.

Hackingtosh will have some issues. Guess I'll just save up money and buy a 15" Macbook pro. Life of a developer

Is you set up a Travis ci build to build with OSX, then give it your developer keys, and have it export the finished IPA to your server or something, you don't need a MacBook.
