Wow, i had that one. It was awesome, you could let it fight with other Tamagotchi of same kind! -
ANTIASYLUMIST7719h@retoor tamagochis was the greatest thing ever.
Do you know of a good tamagochi emulator in CLI by anychance?
I want to have pets in the console -
retoor779119h@ANTIASYLUMIST down the vibe coder tool (r) from molodetz en vibe code one in C. I'm sure you'll have good results. I do harder stuff with it. No key required.

retoor779118h@ANTIASYLUMIST you're making fun of me, but my C tamagotchi will last for another 20 years and your react tamagotchi will be refactored within a month because it has unresolvable state issues.
Edit: also, it doesn't work on safari. -
BordedDev150718hI never had a genuine one, but if I find the old thing it's probably still running

I have only one state. Internationalist to the end. How great was stalin?
Centralized state is where it's at. If you have several states they end up fighting. Whereas had the USSR conquered the world there would be no more wars.
Technology is so fucked sometimes. Often I wish that we've stopped at the Tamagotchi. It also didn't have audio jack, usb and took ages on it's battery. Communicated more clear that GPT.
Also, with a Tamagotchi you always have at least one friend to talk to.
