@rookiemaverick people root their phones to get full control of their phone. You can literally do anything with your phone, flash a custom ROM, install a new firmware, remove anything that you like etc

@Devnergy I definitely prefer android. Never been a fan of apple and I dont see that really changing. As for budget, nothing too expensive. I dont use my phone all too often so maybe like max 200 or 250 (I have no clue what phones run for these days. Ive only ever had used phones given to me by friends who upgraded)

@meowijuanas I quite like my OnePlus 3t, no idea what current versions are like, they generally keep up roughly with tech trends, it use OxygenOS (so neat features like this: https://devrant.com/rants/1431746/...) and isn't really bloated, a Google account is needed being android so *shrug*

Guys I need a new phone because my current one is really slow and just honestly shitty.
I know way more about computers than I do phones so I was wondering if there is any certain phone you guys recommend? Preferably something that does NOT shove Google down my throat? (My phone doesnt let me delete Google apps and I dont feel like dealing with that shit or doing extra stuff to remove..)
