This movie is so recognizable: "The Expert". Really, a must see for every IT related consultant out there. Not once, I have felt exactly like this guy: https://m.youtube.com/watch/...

It could have served as a useful illustration for PMs to get them to understand. However, it is probably too technical with words such as "perpendicularity". It will just spawn argumentation like 'ok i get that you can't have a red line with blue ink, but surely you can draw seven perpendicular lines. This is a typical example of a tech guy being negative instead of solution oriented".
We'll end up having to make a video that explains this video in even simpler language.

Holu fuck! This scenario once happened to me as well. Went into a meeting with a client (some financial bigshot) regarding their website. He wanted a feature that would simply not work and when I explained it to him the cunt proceeded to tell me that he would not be told what can and cannot be done by a mere developer. Son of a fuck I was pissed. Needless to say that relationship did not last very long.

It's unbelievable...you get looked upon as "not being constructive" on top of it! Although, in all fairness, we should not be complaining. This problem has actually been solved by someone with way too much time and a brilliant mind :) https://m.youtube.com/watch/...

It means, to be short, that you, paradoxally enough, have to be quite clever to know woh dumb you are...@siljamicke
