Your post already implied what to do: don't push, if you can't. Do a break, go out for a walk, do dishes, get groceries, anything goes and if you still don't feel like it, then just continue another day.

qlasico10576y@JoshBent yes but I want to be able to, I mean, just like marathon training. I think what I don't know is if "good pain" or "bad pain". Like injury vs muscle growth.
I wouldn't mind being useless for a while if it means I will be more resilient later on.
Just wondering if anyone has good ways of dealing with it -
@qlasico I don't think you can quite compare the two, if you push yourself that one time too much, you'll pay dearly, those signals aren't there for nothing.
What you should learn instead, is how to budget the time you do have, without hitting limits or consequences. (also plan breaks)
My 2 cents of course, so if you think it's worth it playing poker with your health, then just atleast read on the consequences of "burnout". (also often referred to as "occupational burnout" iirc)

What do you do when you're trying to push yourself further by learning new concepts and techniques but start to feel the burnout closing in?
Usually I'm useless for about week if I push myself too hard. Would love to overcome this.
