Gitlab this, Gitlab that.. nobody says shiet about Bitbucket ?! :(

    Gitlab is great because of the features, and because its opensource. Bot more importamtly because the company is completely open. As soon as there is an issue they will come out with it while they are solving it and sometimes they even livestream solving it so other people can learn and ask questions during "waiting for the computer to do its tasks".

    @Codex404 we used to use gitlab but switched to github. Github is still just a bit better.

    And since we use MS as platform for everything else there is no problem with MS buying them.

    I'm going to bitbucket because of the free private repos. I've accidentally uploaded enough trail API keys for I've lfe time.

    Come to think of it, how do you guys handle this?

    @polaroidkidd Gitlab also has free private repos ?!

    @polaroidkidd usually separate config file (in gitignorr) and sample config in the repo + secrets using docker

    @Voxera gitlab has way more features though. Things were asking for for years were only added in github after gitlab implemented it.

    And I too am currently fully working with MS products. I dont care MS has acquired Github.
