    @electric-ghost might be unpopular, but I think atlasian and github belonging to the same company would make for an interesting combination. Full JIRA and Confluence with every git repo? Count me in.

    And yes, I know they have bitbucket. But then again why go to bitbucket when github and gitlab have just an as good implementation with jira/confluence?

    @electric-ghost exactly. Atlassian would have had great potential with bitbucket. But they didn't use it. I guess M$ would at least be that smart, or use github to create a alternative to JIRA/Confluence (as you said GitHub Pages/Wiki is way inferior to confluence and also things like trello/asana don't stand a chance against jira...)

    I'm afraid one day it will all end to be:
    Apple
    Microsoft
    Google
    Facebook
    Oracle
    Amazon

    Any other big tech company I forgot?

    @gitpush Hexical Labs
    in 2020 dfox and trogus will receive a 2.1 billion dollar VC investment. Following rapid growth towards marked rantingleadership in the developers segment.

    you forgot the chinese
    tencent
    Alibaba

    and japans softbank... they are slinging the billions of dollhairs and buying so much companies.

    @heyheni guess it's time to build a startup and sell it 😂

    Given the assholish behaviour of the regulars at SO, I think Oracle would be the most logical buyer.

    @Fast-Nop totaly agree! 😄👍

    @Wack ms already has tfs/vsts

    @gitpush strange you put Oracle there. In my mind Oracle is far below the rest on that list. Including Oracle would be like including IBM.

    Hope microsoft does and then they delete all the questions from whatever database it has and then make it a fresh start with nicer devs 🙏

    @TonyG oh ya forgot about IBM, and there is also SAP, let's see where this thing will end

    Then I'd be fucked but so be it.
