Was so excited about Linux coming to the Chromebook plus.... And there is no x86 compatability layer...

They built an ARM layer for the android apps on x86 but nothing for Linux... Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck

    @DuckyMcDuckFace hated the black and the CPU didn't justify the extra $200... At the time *sits in the corner and cries*

    @lxmcf well if it makes it any better a lot of the Ubuntu repositories are compiled for both arm and x86

    Or, you can just learn how to run Linux stuff directly on a Chromebook.
    It has a Wayland server, you can use Gui apps..

    @ewpratten I know how to do it, I'm just not a fan of throwing my device I to such an 'unstable' or 'unprotected' state, I felt horrible putting it in the development channel to start off
