qdsp1317796yIf Windows is already installed, just going through the Ubuntu installer normally should detect the instalation and set up the dual boot for you. You may have to shrink the windows partition first though to accommodate

qdsp1317796yAlso, avoid major windows updates if possible. They can really screw up a dual boot system

It isn't difficult, you may have to shrink the partition down some to make room for Ubuntu, but it isn't hard and the installer should pretty much walk you through it.
You can also "try Ubuntu without installing" to make sure it works on your hardware, and then you can pull up a dual boot walkthrough (there are thousands online).
