Are there any risk in running Duel Boot (Windows 7 & Ubuntu) at the same time? Are there good tutorial you can provide? I wanna be linux guy. Kinda confused!

    @electric-ghost I am afraid of it. Are there any good article to read in details and about the process thst needs to be done step by step? I mean tutorials... :(

    If Windows is already installed, just going through the Ubuntu installer normally should detect the instalation and set up the dual boot for you. You may have to shrink the windows partition first though to accommodate

    Also, avoid major windows updates if possible. They can really screw up a dual boot system

    @electric-ghost No, it doesn't. I was referring to updating Win 7 to 8 or 10

    You mean "dual" not "duel".
    "dual" = 2
    "duel" = "fight"

    Sorry, I was late to edit it. But, you are welcome to make fun of it. 😊

    It isn't difficult, you may have to shrink the partition down some to make room for Ubuntu, but it isn't hard and the installer should pretty much walk you through it.

    You can also "try Ubuntu without installing" to make sure it works on your hardware, and then you can pull up a dual boot walkthrough (there are thousands online).
