@wrkuijpers for as long as I can remember. At home I'm also running an eGPU for my macbook pro, so I can have even more monitors

@ChainsawBaby I remember a time when at least the laptop form factor didn't support multiple monitors, thanks for educating me, i'll change my profile.

@wrkuijpers that must've been ages ago I think.
I know I could run external monitors on my old MBP 2011 13" model.
My current MBP 2016 15" I can run 4x 4K displays or 2x 5K displays at 60Hz.
Albeit it's over Thunderbolt 3/ USB-C, and it has to daisy chain (I think it's using DisplayPort for that)
