6y

Its 6 in the morning. I've been unmotivated to program since my highschool graduation. And I just felt some inspiration flow to me but at the same time crippling self doubt followed. I have projects planned but my lack of skill stops me and its passing me off because I'm already wasting my life. And I'm thinking of getting an IT job to start off since I have the experience from school but I'm deathly afraid I'll lose the touch I've started to get. Idk thanks if anyone bothered clicking and reading this rant.. theres no one else I can talk to about this stuff..

since all my projects i learned from were personal, no one cared about my lack of skills. did not change for me because hobby, but my point is i'd recommend practicing without publishing in the first place.

@Bubbles still set yourself goals. i decided to learn a new language and all of my practices are noob-shit. i still haven't figured out how to code for practical use but that does not keep me from trying (i am looking at you, os restrictions!). neither should it keep you.

@erroronline1 you are currently at 401++, which means your username checks out. You will soon be approaching the very memeable 404 and then you will turn into a teapot at 415

@Bubbles i am new to python and oop as well, currently fighting my way through basic syntax, methods and data structures. this is a whole new concept for me - idk how i managed to avoid it for the last 25 years using only functions 🤔 doesn't make it easier to leave old tracks...
