@epse This was with UPC in Hungary. But there are similar services in many countries.

Comcast sets up their Xfinity wifi routers to be open. if you connect you get a Comcast login screen which if you have proper credentials on an active Comcast account they'll allow you to connect over wifi using that other Comcast customers connection. So lock down those routers so your neighbors don't steal bandwidth.
