@coolmox Well I had a choose either learn flexbox or grid.

As an cultured man I like tables and arrays, so this picture convinced me to go for grid instead:

But both are viable I choose grid on a whim since it really fits the game I'm trying to make in my spare time without conveluted setup (I like vanilla, call me a biggot but there is something nice about snappy loading times).

Though both force me to do something I don't like; CSS.

I wish they hadn't chosen the name "grid" for grid. That was already a well-understood term in CSS development for a method of using classic CSS for layout before we had Flexbox.

But in truth, Flex and Grid solve different problems, and should be used together as appropriate.
