Non dev question for those in Germany... If I need unlimited minutes with the best coverage near Wiesbaden, what would my options be?

    Uhh best coverage Telekom I guess. So it would be anyone in the D1 network. Their magentamobile contracts offer unlimited calls within Germany.

    Can't guarantee for coverage but they tend to have the best reception quality

    @AlexDeLarge define expensive? And if I can't find unlimited, I'm making work pay for it lol

    @AlexDeLarge lol!!! When I looked at home Internet, people claimed o2 was the best

    @AlexDeLarge most customers are satisfied with O2 as they are cheaper and tend to work. However the difference in service quality becomes most apparent in rural areas.

    Also their LTE network appears to be worse than Vodafone's and Telekom's according to some reports.

    @QueenMorgana I'm living close to Wiesbaden and had no problems with Telekom in this area. Only thing is the broadband expansion which never happened in my town, so my LTE ist faster here than my normal internet connection (25k)

    @AlexDeLarge oh dear. I have o2 for internet and phone. The internet went off twice while posting this rant -_-

    @AlexDeLarge @xecute ok. Your experiences speak for themselves. I have Vodafone CallYa which is a prepaid offering. Vodafone is fine here although beaten by Telekom in comparisons.

    Is there going to be a meet-up?

    @Zennoe maybe. Sometime in August?

    @QueenMorgana @Zennoe I would join a meet-up near Wiesbaden/Mainz. I'm nearby for the next few months. 😁

    I second @RantSomeWhere experience @Zennoe . I am also in NRW. And O2 is unfortunately my only choice. I tried Unity Media but for some weird reasons they couldnt install a fibre optic port in my apartment.

    @xecute aren't you referring to broadband here?

    @Zennoe Sorry. I went off topic with Unity Media. But for O2 I was referring to mobile data and calling.

    @xecute broadband is good to know, too. That's another requirement. Anything with latency under 150ms connecting to the west coast of the us lol (I'm actually laughing because that's a hell of a distance)
