Is it possible to remove mdm from an iOS device after it’s been reset?

@sdushantha it’s from an old job I worked over a year ago, it was sitting in a box to be mailed this whole time and I just found it while cleaning. They never contacted me about it, so I figured I’d try to use it. Restored it, but when doing first time set up its interrupted by “remote management” screen. It seems I can’t proceed without company IT access. Tried looking it up online but only found shitty YouTube videos that ask people to WhatsApp the creator and/or buy a product...
