    @amatrelan I use Nano as Vim is not very beginner friendly and from people on YouTube I dont see anything Vim can do that Nano cannot.

    One thing.. It never hangs and does it's work.

    @Marl3x it is worth learning but keep in mind that it can take decades to know all the keypresses and functions! There are so many useful things

    @BrownPanther I realized that today! Colleague loaded a 35mb file into vim without any problems, with nano, I ended up pkilling the process to keep my computer normal 😅

    Because once you get used to modal editing you'll feel like your wings have been clipped any time you open up an insert-only editor.

    But mostly because it makes manipulating text *fun*!
