For those who keep complaining about winblows and microshit, just know that windows is highly customizable (registry).

Look here for some tips: https://howtogeek.com/howto/37920/...
It's for win 7 but many should still work for win 10

Uhm... you do know that pretty much all other operating systems (except those made by a certain fruit company) allows for far more customization in a far less obnoxious way right ?

The registry is probably the second worst thing about windows.

@ItsNotMyFault What would be the first? The registry always drove me the craziest.

@starrynights89 The inability to install updates while the system is running is my 1st.

@ItsNotMyFault that's not my point. What my point is is that instead of complaining all the time about every single problem that comes up, instead maybe try to see if there's perhaps a fix, like let's say turning off a few settings, or maybe you just have to make a change in the registry.

Also personally, I think the registry is a useful invention, if you can explain to me why it's so bad then I'd like to hear, cuz I'm not really sure what's the problem with it. Honestly I find it to be very useful you can go ahead and stick every setting in one place,l. while I will admit that the configuration for the settings is very inconvenient (0, 1, 2), still in the bigger picture it's a fairly useful tool, and I find that better than running around searching for configuration files, and then searching for how to configure the configuration files. But here, if you change something you can very easily revert (windows RE) and you don't risk your system because of restore points and other options.
