PayPal sucks. They canceled our ability to take ecommerce payments just because. No reason given. We had not violated any terms of service. Our customers are happy with our products. And we were making them lots of money. They just up and pulled the plug because they’re PayPal and screw anyone who asks why. Idiots.

I hate PayPal so hard. They've made eBay basically impossible for new people to use. Though I created my eBay account in 1998, I'm still considered new, because I have a rating under 200. So that means if I sell something, I have to wait 21 days for the payment to be released to me. If I wait for the payment before sending the item to the buyer, the buyer will get angry, call me a scammer, and leave me a bad review, which will also keep me in the 21 days club. So getting vetted on eBay now requires assuming a substantial risk, for a long time.

PayPal can swallow my toenail clippings.

@bahua eBay is garbage. I can’t believe it’s still in business. At my old job we had a customer service rep miss one return and it dinged is for more than a year. And we had been on eBay for almost as long as it had existed! The remediation rep at eBay wouldn’t return our calls and refused to help us even after we met all their demands. But if you don’t sell there, you do miss out on a lot of revenue.
