@tahnik linking doesn't work for me yet

This was on purpose. For the time being, until we can get open from notif to work properly in all cases, I took out the logic that was in there because many times it produced broken behavior.

For stuff like this that is directed at me specifically and is a possible bug/question, please email me instead of posting a rant.
