Another failed interview after I poured my heart and soul into an employers interview project. I Pulled all nighters. I worked so hard and really pushed myself this time. The interview went really well and I had a lot of positive feedback but I didn't get the job because they hired someone with more experience.Im am so passionate about becoming an Android Developer but it saddens me that I will never be able to get a job doing it because there are always people more experienced than me. I'm absolutely gutted. IV worked so hard to get this far. I'm about to give up. What's the fucking point.... Devistated.

you seem motivated. it's their loss this time.

@balte definitely their loss. I would have been the most dedicated hard working member of their team. Same old story. Employers don't want to invest in people anymore it's not profitable. I would understand if I was fresh out of school. But I am a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert MCSe with over 15 years work experience in IT. I have proven time and time again I am very technical and have ability to troubleshoot and adapt to certain situations. This is a life skill very transferable. I am willing to learn and will learn fast.

@rEaL-jAsE I'm sorry for you bro. I know exactly how that feels. Maybe we should just fuck all employers and make a dev rant super group. We will start our own company where everyone can contribute and share ideas then we will take that shit to market steam rolling the opposition.

Just hold on there. Sometimes your are over qualified for a job. Dream bigger, apply for a bigger position

Honestly buddy, if I had a job going, I'd definitely hire you. In my experience, those that are passionate are work more than experience alone.

    Seriously, don't give up.

    What country?

This should motivate you more... Be sure another bigger and better opportunity is coming your way... Do not feel like you've lost it all.. The best thing about being a developer is that it's never a loss.. You either become better or learn.....

Was that really a project for multiple all nighters? It’s hard to believe someone would give such a hard task to a candidate. Maybe they were looking for someone that already knew all the tools.

Anyways, they lost a good candidate, it seems.

Jobs that make you jump through hoops will be shit anyway, no good dev wastes time with those processes
