Until I see a god damn Linux boot disk or OS install usable on my laptop, windows wins this war.

Current attempt, boot disk freezes at grub message 🤷‍♂️
Laptop now sitting at 35’c and climbing from the cold 18’c it was a few moments ago.

Guess I got to find another distro to add to my list.

I recommend you to try ArchLabs or ZorinOS. I never had problems with those two.

Ahh get ubunt 18.04 its installation is quite robust, it works on my 6 year old amd chip with no hiccups

Or maybe get elementary OS its similar to mac/windows , installation is smooth as well

ZorinOs is unbuntu based if I remember correctly, so don’t like my chances, might give archlabs a go seeing as Antergos was the only one to get to the tty login
