I need to buy a laptop to replace my 5 year old one. My work is mostly in data science. My budget is really flexible. Any suggestions?

Get a decent gaming laptop if you aren't afraid of a bit of heft. The GPU really helps accelerate compute tasks, since you're a data science person. And you get a good CPU too.

I recommend Dell, the after sales support is awesome. I use an Inspiron 7567. Oh, and get an SSD.

I got Dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop. Never regretted for a moment. It's a beast!

Hp spectre x360. It has 16 gb ram, 256/512 gb ssd/ 4 gb Nvidia graphics card, 4k screen, i7 quad core, 8 threads(probably 8th gen i suppose), touch screen, convertible, not so heavy.
