Isn't a dev using the laptop keyboard like a professional mechanic using the toolkit that comes with the car?

I try not to, but yes, I concede it's a tight squeeze.

I don't see the point in bringing a separate keyboard with the laptop. A mouse is fine, if you have a table for it.
I'm glad to have a real pc with two screens at the workplace. It would be pretty uncomfortable coding woth the laptop at the workplace...
