Let's hope Slack releases this dark theme soon.

we devs always prefer dark themes and it has been a while since slack came up ... I am surprised they are now looking for a way to add it instead of keeping it in mind since the very beginning .... 🤷‍♂️

Theyve been saying this since 2014, it almost seems like they want "slack has no dark theme" to blow up as meme for marketing purposes

I'm convinced Slack, Asana, etc just use Twitter bots for support.

"Yes, <your request> is very high on our wishlist"

"This is something we really have been considering, we'll keep you up to date!"

20 years later — "Our developers have this high on their priority list"

Try it, browse their replies on Twitter. They're all the same, all without any intention of actually changing anything.

I'd actually prefer a blunt "Nope, we won't do that anytime soon".

I'm personally using the HotDogStand theme of course, so much better than a light theme
