Does anyone use a particular reminder to remember to take breaks from their computer?

I'm noticing when I spend a lot of time looking at my computer screen, my eyes will get really tired and it'll be almost impossible to continue looking at a screen. However, when I am not looking at the computer screen all day long and the amount of time is spread throughout the day, my eyes are fine.

So I'm looking for something to remind me to keep taking breaks so that my eyes are rested all day long.

*I do have a blue light filter on 24/7*

Try the pomodoro technique, it might be helpful for you

I didn't and I stopped when I'm thinking about it. Maybe I should try a reminder apps

I use watches reminder for activity every hour, works pretty well, but it's mostly self discipline to not dismiss these notifications..

You may have too strong lenses if your eyes get tired fast. Your eyes have muscles that get tired when you look close. Looking far without glasses gives those muscles rest.

@electrineer The lenses are fine, I think. Just got them a few months ago. (They're definitely really strong, but my eyes are really fucked you. Long story short: I always sat at the front of the class, so I never noticed my eye sight was fucked up until I was like 10 or 11.)

On days where I never or rarely look at a computer screen, they don't get tired. At all.

I do groceries two times a day and make sure I literally don't have any more food than that in the house. This way I'm literally forced to go out and see that bright light in the sky that blinds me most of the time ;)

@linuxxx I'll be good once school starts back (for the most part). My uni's campus is huge as fuck, so I'll be walking around it.

I also can't park my car on campus because I live within a mile of the campus... except it's literally on the edge of that Q1 mile radius. Pisses me off lol
