Can you make a website with some of that java code?

    @mahaDev are people still using it? Last time I checked the integration with bootstrap wasn't so good.

    @kgbemployee the problem I've had with vaadin was the lack of reusability with other Java UI classes. It makes it almost impossible to use a custom graph class for example without hacking and tweaking it a lot. The feel during development is also pretty "old" and I would personally look for another framework. Also the UI doesn't look good in my opinion and styling it with CSS is cool, although not very practical. And the worst of it all: the components that are ACTUALLY good cost you money, so you don't get the full functionality to begin with.

    But hey that's just my opinion, if it works for you that's fine for me 🤗

    @Demiourgos it isn't. But my company developed this monolith framework a couple of years ago and it's still working out for us, kind of. But the UI is suckish.

    There is this new framework that someone is developing based on/built on the original gwt framework. Forgot the name. I'll post it here if I'm able to find it.

    @kgbemployee I switched to Angular as well, it just works a lot better for me
