@dmonkey i tried the filters for a long time.
People who write general posts usually give two flying fucks about categorizing/tagging it properly, sometimes not categorizing them at all.
But blaming the user is easy. I wish for better moderation of content instead. -
Does people get notification when their posts get downvoted? If so, we should start downvoting everything that's not in the right place. Now or then users will pay more attention.
Anyway you are not wrong with the administration thing... Maybe there should be some administrator users, it could be a new feature...

Fucking devRant is becoming too general in non-dev related posts.

Sometimes i enjoy it too.. But i rather have a minimum of 4:1 ratio of dev related posts to general posts.
Today it feels more like the opposite. Of every 4 posts maybe 1 is dev related.
It also feels like there is no moderation of content. Maybe there is, but even if so its not as effective as it should be (at least for me)
After 2 years of being in devRant and more than 1 year supporting it, im getting sick of it and it makes me sad.
