    Ssd is the only part that really matters. Anyway big improvement! In your case

    I know people with i5-8400 gtx 1060 8gb ddr4-2400 and

    A Recycled 200GB 5400rpm hdd for OS

    They really thinks that their pc is fast.
    Just for save ~30€

    I think any latest processors could be considered fast enough, give it a ssd and it’ll feels like flying

    @shelladdicted @devTea Well the e7400 is so old that this change does make a noticeable difference even in basic usage.

    @electrineer I was stupid forgot the e and though it was 7th gen pentium, nvm 775 is old, you’re right

    Should i switch to win10?

    @Clear0Ff Hard to tell. From my expierience hardware support is improved (e.g. USB 3 w/o extra drivers; sometimes Win 7 "refuses" to run on modern Intel processors which may force you to upgrade), depending on what you do with your computer, DX 12 may improve performance for certain Games or rendering (cannot compare).

    Then there is the privacy thing, so double check the settingsif you have decided to use Windows 10.
