@nemyxa Well it's a solid search engine. I'm just trolling.

@nemyxa By using startpage you're still indirectly supporting Google, so if you care about privacy as a principle, it doesn't really make sense to use it.

@sharktits Well sorry for asking a community that I trust. I dont want to hear some fanboy but people that know their stuff.

@Marl3x do you really think that we don't have fanboys here?

You'll recognize a good comparison when you see one, otherwise just look at the description on their website/Wikipedia/whatever, compare it to other languages, etc.

And I agree with @sharktits: it's a *very* broad question and it's pretty hard, if not impossible, to list everything on a platform such as devRant

Question that anyone will happily answer: "hey, i wanna dig into rust, if you have some exp, can you recommend me a starter project where it shines?"

Question that nobody cares bout: pictured above

@sharktits My actual question is: Why should I use it instead of Python for example. Is it simpler to use, faster to develop, does it have a lot of packages? I wanted to spark some kind of conversation. I mean knowing what it can do doesn't tell me why I should use it.
    It's just C with a garbage collector isn't it?
