    Also, if you must use windows, install the ubuntu bash and install node and all other bullshit in it

    Just set the NodeJS and NPM environment variables and add the paths to the PATH variable.

    @mundo03 fuck bash shell - just run a VM and be done with it, why use a half ass subsystem when you can use the entire thing.

    Takes like 5 seconds to setuo and use node on windows :)

    Unless your using node-gyp, then use Linux.

    Feel your pain bro... Same issues here but compounded with the stupidly locked down permissions at work, can't even disable the visual studio built-in node v5.x runtime when project requires >6.
