    Sadly the best solution is probably educating clients so they can detect b.s. and call the management on it. (I suspect educating managers who do that kind of thing is an exercise in futility.) Of course, many clients have similar management problems, so perhaps the world is just doomed.

    Alternately, devs pull out all the stops to meet unrealistic deadline and halfway kills themselves to do it. Next day, new unrealistic deadline set.

    Devs: *Burnt out beyond belief*

    Managers: "but why is our velocity going down?" :(

    @HollowKitty I'm decelerating probably because of that. Fuck this shit, I need a break. But guess what? I probably can't take leave because of the fucked up schedule.
