devTea240886y@Stuxnet I like social network (2010), steve jobs (2015), snowden (2016), and the internship (2013)
-
@devTea Social network wasn't my cup of tea (lol); I completely forgot about Snowden, thanks! And I watched like half the internship, but forgot to finish it lol.
I usually watch the Vice series Cyberwars, Silicon Valley and I'm going to start Mr. Robot soon. -
devTea240886y@Stuxnet I've heard silicon valley and mr.robot a lot, guess that will be on my list on weekend
Haha I did learn a thing or two from social network, and it's set on IT -
@devTea Silicon Valley is a comedy with fucked up humor. Season 1 is great, 2&3 are good and 4&5 are meh. (5 has a lot less tech related humor)
Mr. Robot is a drama about a hacker, I believe. Tried to watch the first season on the website of the channel it airs on (using my cable account) but only season 3 is available. Made me salty as fuck lol -
benj8836yMr robot is awesome! When they mentioned Gnome vs KDE I was hooked!
But seriously, usually take a break, a mental break doing something completely different, even better if it doesn't has to do with monitors... Take a walk, cook something, read a book, and then reflect a little about the reasons why you are doing what you are doing... Buy something fun with your paycheck, just so it feels like you are not a slave but can actually get stuff for yourself.
In the practical side, I put music (I like the brain food Playlist on Spotify) and start doing pomodoros, take the code 25 min at a time -
@benj During the seasons other than summer I usually watch a lot of sports to completely escape technology. A nice Saturday with 12 hours of (American) football and hanging out with friends while watching football is a great way to relax and get over everything. And if it's not enough, then a Sunday with about 10 hours of football will definitely fix it lol

Thanks guys! Just finished eating...alot. I'm planning to move away from the monitor for a day or two tho I like the idea of re/watching mr.robot and silicon valley. Maybe, I'm just tired coding/refactoring the same monolith project for a month now.
