Don’t give up on it. Math is fundamental to everything. It all comes down to how you are taught. If you find there are concepts you are not getting there are tons of resources online (YouTube channels like 3blue1brown) that can help explain them intuitively.

Math is hard to read for the same reasons that shitty code is hard to read, and also why APL has not taken off. In SW engineering, people have overcome that shit phase, but the shit in math is so old that it has fossilised into stone.
