Going from 80% development/20% SEO at an agency to a new inhouse position with 90% SEO and 10% development. But it'll be fun.
If not, I will let you know for sure.

And how are you doing? Share your impressions of the new position. I was also offered an SEO vacancy, but I need to improve my competence. Can you tell me some good tricks and tools? The site is under development only and they want to use the CMS to create and edit content. I've heard that the CMS needs to be configured properly so that it doesn't hurt SEO in the future.

From my experience, I can say that no CMS platform will be 100% SEO friendly, each of them will have their own drawbacks and they will all need to be configured correctly. Of the main contenders, I would recommend WordPress to you, the only drawback I noticed is the large number of required plugins that can slow down your site. I think the article on Choosing the Right CMS for SEO https://seranking.com/blog/... will be helpful to you, where you can familiarize yourself with all the options available and decide which is best for you.
