Have you tried to manually reconfigure the dhcp interface/network/whateveryoucallit?

@linuxxx actually it shows DHCP while installing Kali. And when the installation is complete. There is no wifi icon

What's the result of an ifconfig or 'ip a'?

If config shows no network interface

I doubt it failed - you're probably just missing drivers or need to bring the interfaces up. It's also possible that some WiFi monitoring utility/tool has claimed the wifi adapter.

    Most likely missing drivers.

@aarfa are you running it on a Mac Book by any chance? I've head they get some weird driver issues on Kali.

As a sidenote, perhaps a bit more time consuming, but I think you can still install Kali on fresh Debian install... see which version of Debian you need, install it and see if the problem still persists before you install Kali.
