After a nightmare weekend where moving my 80 year old desk caused the wood to completely split and almost broke my computer and screens in the process..... I felt physically sick.....

Somehow I became a carpenter for the day and rebuilt and resized my desk to make it better then ever.....

Couldn't be happier with the final result tbh!

Then there's me: I just went and bought one from Walmart lmao.

But that's a really cool desk. Was it built by a family member and passed down or just a cool find?

    Nice work 😁👍

@stuxnet I found it in an old vintage shop me and the wife love to visit... It was practically black with dirt and it was from a local school that was being demolished... Brought it home and sanded it back to get the original grain on show.... It was a teachers desk from the primary school and still had bits of graffiti carved in from years and years of being used!

@ODXT thanks man.... I think growing older has finally made me appreciate and attempt DIY properly as I've previously been useless at it! Something so satisfying about creating or working on something physical rather than software sometimes!

Oh and out of shot are the two wall mounted guitars and 4 other guitars on my wingback 👍

Is that a wooden touchpad to the right? If so, can you recommend it, are you happy with it?

@Intronout it's a apple track pad with vinyl patch over the top so it matches the desk
