@devTea my original plan was to create the background completely with css.

But I ended up using a background image because it's just a pain in the ass doing all that alignment with position absolute.

I forgot that I actually set up the project way too overkill. It's built on the Phalcon framework. You can go to app/views/index for the html and resources/scss/ for the sass/css.
