I hate having a project to go on with but not being able to :(

For example: I have a project that I want to work on, but I'm currently fixing HDDs and I can't use my computer (which is a backup, therefore quite slow). And I can't stop the HDD recovery process unless I want to start again later.

PS: Am I the only one who deletes his most recent rant when he thinks he has something better to say, and the cooldown is still not over?

I think I once deleted a rant, because literally nobody even gave a ++
So I guess I'm lame yeah

Also I hate that too, my work project is being delayed because I'm doing support stuff all the time and I lost the motivation for my private project because I bricked the files and have so much else to do.

@jonii I'll admit that I'm kinda disappointed when a rant gets absolutely no attention, but heh :)

What do you mean you bricked your files? DId you render them unusable?

@TheOct0 I tried using GitLab with Atom, but because I'm a noob and was too lazy to just Google and follow instructions I just played around and in the process of getting the files in my git project they somehow managed to disappear on my hard drive and the copies that were (according to Atom) on the server were empty. So yeah, guess just figuring out stuff by try and error without a backup is dumb af

@jonii I use GitLab and Atom together without any issue. I'm no professional, but just ask if you need advice, I can at least trace my process for you :)
