    Why not strive for improvement? I don’t see the joke in this.. It’s like the complexity of the project is too much for the programmer so they just stay at a safe checkpoint of compilation and “okay” runtime. Never wanting to move on. Marrying their code.

    That separates software engineers from programmers.

    Editing a complexly architectured project is one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done.
