that's why sometimes you need to be hardcore to know the mundane thing. i can fix a lot of problem in debian and ubuntu, after i try to install Arch (no pun intended)

Most of the time when you can't find the proper fw module in the repository, you can head straight to github and pull some source and build yourself.
It takes some time, but you end up there most of the time anyway after trying countless pre-build modules from questionable sources

That's ant_sel value issue.. increasing from 1 to 2 will solve strength in Linux based os.
