Anyone else think it's difficult to come up with an app idea?

In my opinion, coming up with an idea is not the most difficult thing. The difficult thing is to refine the idea to make it the next big thing (at least this is what you should believe)

I guess that for the best apps, the idea came along by itself.

It is hard. I want to start messing around with django and nothing comes to mind.

What would help or entertain you? Would you pay for it? Find that and probably a lot of other people need it.

Ask yourself what tool you need personnaly. If such thing already exist, what should be different to match your own needs ?
Personaly, I did a CLI to auto-download subtitles with ruby. A gem already exists to do that, but some things didn't work the way I wanted. So I did my own gem, with a different approach of the solution.

@thassiov that's right. In the mean time I try to learn as much as I can so I can implement that idea when it comes.
