Thoughts on React Native?

So apparently the most recent version of xcode is buggy? I just got the new macbook pro with the touchbar and was excited to dive into ios app development. Should i wait to download xcode until the issues are fixed? Any xcode users out there?

Can someone explain to me why there is so much hate on PHP circulating?

I was teaching my friends to code in HTML with Atom earlier today so we could finish the homework for a class and in the span of one hour, two kids randomly approached us and started staring at the screen. They thought we were coding something huge when in reality we were practicing our ordered and unordered lists. Lmfao

Recommended packages for Atom for PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL development to make my life easier? Autocomplete, preview, etc.?

Is there an HTML previewer for Atom so I don't have to keep opening the page in a browser?

When you take an online class thinking you can work at your own pace, but the teacher expects work on a Monday and Thursday schedule? The reason I took the class is to work at my own pace, wtf? If I had time on a Monday and Thursday I would've took it in school those days. Smh!!

unpopular opinion: I hate WordPress!

Looking for iOS and Android app developers to join startup in Rutherford, NJ area. Must be able to show portfolio of apps and have some published. Must be able to pull and compare data with sensitive databases (social security number, passport, birth certificate, etc) to verify user. You will be compensated hourly. Must sign NDA.

Guys, long story short we found an investor for our app idea. What's the best route to go for us to get the people we need. Essentially we need a mobile app, but it may also need to be a kiosk, so should we look specifically for React Native developers to make a cross platform app or should we focus on ios, android, and kiosk apps natively? It involves access of sensitive information.

Features that I'm looking forward to:

-profile pictures
-friends
-chat
-possibly a different color scheme?

As I am a year and a half away from getting my bachelor's degree, what are the pros and cons on pursuing a master's degree in comp sci? Will I have a better shot at more pay?

Just curious. How would one go about programming something like this? Do you guys think this machine just displays a fullscreen web app made in html/css or is there another approach with an actual programming language, not markup language that one can take? I heard it uses RFID technology to show cartridge levels, and records the time dispensed, alerts store owner when low, and brand dispensed alongside just dispensing drinks.

What is the highest paying IT job that does not require any programming?
