Is it harder to get funding for your idea or come up with an idea?

If your idea is great and you prove it you will have a good chance to get funding. Or you may not even need the funding if you can boot strap it. Be careful about giving away pieces of a good company unless you are getting the right return. That could mean investors that bring a lot more to the table than money.
