@TheOct0 still stuck on logging in via the API with my @GoogleAssistant.. so deleting account or logging out, haven't even been able to look into that yet 😞

@TheOct0 that wouldn't be a bad idea 🙂 what language is @Solstice written in? Here I'm using bash and perhaps I'll convert it to C at some point, because those are pretty much the only languages that I can write in.. and both of them support curl.

@Condor It's written in js, but I also have an API wrapper that I'm making in Dartlang, and (at)ewpratten made one for Python. I'm not using a wrapper for my js code.

@TheOct0 hmm 😕 I can read JS somewhat but can't write in it or any of the other languages.. so not sure if I'd be able to help there 😞

@TheOct0 ah, I see now! Well the login is essentially what I'm stuck with. From ewpratten's bot thingy I was able to derive the parameters that need to be sent, but the errors given by devRant's API aren't exactly helpful.. pretty much what I'm doing now is sending out their credentials, standard app ID with the password being the only thing that's currently wrong - just sending out "test" for that because I have no idea how I can make the shell not look at a password with ', ", *, $ etc all over the place 😔 and I really don't feel like manually escaping all of it.. that'd be dirty spaget code 😕

Anyway, this is a rather sensitive topic that I doubt should be discussed here on devRant.. can I contact you via email?
