Anyone ever wanted to fire one of his/hers absolutely useless coworkers?

Yeah, but then I'd be alone in the office...which isn't a bad thing now that I think about it!

@linux-colonel Yeah, I know what you mean. But I usually make a difference between those who will eventually get it and those who will never be able to get it. This last group is a pain in the ***.

Although actually firing someone is not as fun as it sounds. A few months ago I (together with an Account Manager) actually had to fire someone after his first month. This was my first, I absolutely wasn't very pleasant. It was a great guy to talk with, but he really sucked at his job. This made it even harder.

Although I realised we were doing the right thing for the company, it really bothered me for a few days.

@Hel8y i agree it is not pleasant. But sometimes you are helping the person if the job is not for them.
