Microsoft Sculpt keyboard? How is it to code on every day? I'm about a week away from buying one.

How annoying is it that it's wireless?

yeah I had painfull tensions in my hands and my employer agreed to buy me one. it was hard to get used to it for about a week, since then I really miss it when coding @ home

@Ratwerks it's absolutely not annoying, I have a docking station with 5 usb ports, so I'm not missing anything :)

@Ratwerks Honest question: what makes a wireless keyboard annoying? I've been using them for the last almost 10 years and I never had any issues, so I started to wonder that maybe wireless keyboards from earlier in the past were causing connectivity or lag issues, which I presume made a lot of users cautious about purchasing one, but I don't think that's the case anymore.

@Anderson I guess it's more to do with a wireless Logitech mouse I had. I couldn't use it while it was charging because it had to sit in a special dock. The thing was constantly out of batteries. I had to remember to charge it every time I walked away from my computer for a few hours.

It was just a giant pain in the ass. I guess if there's a less intrusive charging solution, then it should be fine.

@Ratwerks Try the Logitech M705 Marathon mouse and you'll never go back, trust me :) 3 years of battery life and that's not just a manufacturer's promise, I'm on my 3rd year now with Duracell alkalines and SetPoint shows the batteries as half full :)
