Just heard that we don’t have testers anymore. There was already a low test capacity and now it’s full focus on clients and not on software building anymore.
Who needs testers any way right?
We need to just do everything right the first time!

well, "no software testers" is better than "software testers that have no clue about software, or testing, and can only click around in the interface".

@tosensei I used to think that was a bad thing but now I have to click everywhere and catch every little stupid bug myself

I miss my QA guy so much

@antigermgerm well, the proper way to do it is to _automate a tool_ that does the clicking.

which would free so much time. time that could be used to write _automated tests_ for the API.

which i'm doing myself, anyway, because our tester sucks at it.

@tosensei that's what I keep saying to my boss but he keeps sending me all these bugs request. It's the snake eating its own tail

Why not just do it like microcuck. Let the customers test your unfinished products, and ask them for feedback after grinding them through their UX rape house.
