suprano38308yI'd say stick it up only if it's devRant stickers. There's something about those stickers. :D Just don't overdo it.

Is there a way of removing them without getting the sticky residue? Wanna sticker up my work laptop
-
bpolhemus378yReminds me of young woman I saw on a plane several years ago. Had a "f*ck corporations!" sticker on her Macbook right next to the Apple logo (NYSE: AAPL).

cors24438yit took me some time to convince myself it's ok (not a macbook though). now i have a single big gnu in the middle, as a strong statement :)

The stickers are gonna protect your MBP from getting scratches.
That's what I keep telling myself. -
@fyroc One cost €1500 min, the other is free. So that hurts me to put stickers on a €1500 machine. Then again, it's not my machine.

Tippy1768yThink about it this way: stickers will prevent your shiny new macbook from getting scratched. A little adhesive residue will come off with most any cleaner and a rag.

SithLord8508yNo sticker residue :-) Tried countless times on my MBP, and stickers barely leaves anything, and what it does leave, can easily be removed by fingers or some cloth
-
tytho23168yThe problem with adding stickers is that most of the logos will be out of date in a couple of years. On the other hand, might be a good time gauge on when to get a new laptop.

The sticker collection is growing! No cons or meetups in the near future, guess it's time to start ordering some of the ones on my wishlist! (Of course, devRant was the inaugural sticker...)
I'm torn -- shiny new macbook pro, want to keep it pristine for as long as possible, but I've also got a burning desire to sticker it up.
